About us
新墨西哥华人联合会 （New Mexico Chinese American Association)是一个由生活和工作在阿尔伯克基的华裔美国人和海外华人共同发起的非盈利组织。当医护人员、医务工作者和急救人员缺乏医疗防护用品时，作为本地社区的一员，我们感到责无旁贷，应该团结社区力量，帮助和支持医护人员应对这场公共卫生危机，共同守卫我们的家园。自3月20日起，阿尔伯克基华裔社团的志愿者已经开始从正规渠道收集和订购合格的医疗防护用品，准备有组织地捐赠给急需医疗防护用品的医院、诊所、急救机构等。尽管我们经过了Covid前期的高峰，也为新墨西哥州献上华人社区的绵薄之力，但我们深知2020年是一个特殊的历史年份，Covid没有过去，我们的社区仍需要我们这样一个组织，为华人服务，爱这个社区 ，为这个社区和族裔发声。因此，华人联合会将要成为新墨西哥州服务华人社区的一个重要组织，将成为连接政府和其他社区的重要纽带。
We, a coalition of Chinese-Americans and oversea Chinese, living and working in Albuquerque as citizens and residents, are getting organized to provide support in accordance with the need of our medical workers and first responders. Since March 20, we have raised the awareness of medical supply shortage among our communities, and started collecting and ordering medical supplies from appropriate sources. Our medical workers and first responders will need steady community support in this ongoing public health crisis.
